Ruff to Rescue is a local dog rescue group in Houston, Texas. To date, RTRE has rescued and rehomed over 2000 dogs‼️Their dogs are rescued and vetted in Texas and then sent to their rescue partner New2U Rescue in Rochester NY. New2U finds these dogs wonderful, loving homes and finishes the adoption process🏡
Pictured is our dog Bernie hard at work at the store! Bernie was a street dog in Houston. He lived on the streets for at least 2 years that we know of. I found out that a few good Samaritans used to feed him and the pack he was a part of. I was driving into work one day and saw Bernie on the ground being attacked by a very large dog. I stopped and got the dog off of him. He was very apprehensive at first, but then he walked to me and let me put the leash on him. I picked him up, got him to the vet, and the rest is history 🥰 He is truly the most loyal, loving boy any family could ask for!
